(hey guys, i know this is a sad poem and for that im sorry, but i feel bad for the animals who loose their lives because people dont have the time for them.
if you choose to get an animal, remember it is for life.

i trusted you
loved you
played with you
snuggled with you

you loved me
bathed me
walked me
cared for me

i was there for you, and you for me
life was pure bliss
i was so happy and i was sure you were too
you were everything to me
because you love me!


but now things have changed
for you, you have no time
for me, i still have time
all the time in the world

i dutifully await you every day
hoping that you've come to play
but no, you have no time

you marry, have children
move on with life
me, i end up in the doghouse in the yard
and yet, i wait
for you to play

months go by, days turn to weeks
time flys by
your doing well in life
great job
great marriage
many freinds
everythings great
and yet, i wait

you come to the yard, you have my leash
have you really come to play with me?
i cant belive it!
the car?
are we going to the park?
oh boy!

we drive a really long time
i just cant contain my happiness
you do love me you really do!
i knew you did!

we come to a building
hm, whats this?
hey? where we going?
this isnt the park?
and whos this man?

hey wait! where you going??
come back!!
dont leave me here!!
i whimper
but you dont listen to my cries

"that's a good boy" he says as he pats my head
and leads me to another room
i guess this isnt too bad
im sure you'll come back
and i am sure it will be soon

he leads me to another room
takes my leash and coller
and locks the door
i wonder where hes going

and whats that smell?
boy, im getting really tired
ill take a nap
and when i wake up i know you'll be here
and we'll play all day long
because were buddies, you've said it before

you'll be back, im sure of it!
because you love ........me........

I didn't cry.. But almost. Everytime I read these poems I cuddle my babies. I'm glad I saved them, this is what would have happened. Every second I have with them means so much.
