six months ago my husband and i adopted sport, who was then a year old. he has always used his litter box and if one wasnt available, he would hold it until he was near one again. two weeks ago we adopted ashley, a two year old female. they do really well together except for the occasional rough play, but always go to sleep together in the same place. last night, sport pooped on one of my chairs. it was very runny, like diarrhea. im not sure if this is because he has a stomach problem or if it is just stress from the addition of a new cat in the home. also the incident happened after we had just seperated them from what could have been a nasty little fight. any suggestions would be welcome.

Hello and welcome to petshub hlsdmb,
Since you mentioned that Sport and Ashley are getting on fine and are even playing, so i doubt Sport is being stressed.
Rough play and little fights are common among new friends. But if they start hissing at each other, then i consider that as a real problem.
But Sport and Ashley aren't going through that.
I think it could be just a tummy problem. But do monitor Sport these couple of days. If his diarrhea still persist, consult a vet at once, as Sport could be ill then.
Good luck!
