One morning at the local Animal Shelter a young man was cleaning the kennels when he noticed a young woman looking at all the elderly cats.
"erm, ma'am we just recived some kittens. perhaps you'd be interested? those cats are older, and just not worth it." he says
She stopped for a moment, looked at him and replyed
"Well, older animals need love just like any other animal, possibly more then others." she responded,
"people need to realize that, and adopt the older animals too."
"But there are thousands possibly millions of older animals in this city alone..." the man said. "by just adopting one cat you cannot possibly make a difference..."
Without responding, the girl bent over, picked up an old scraggly looking cat, and began to take her to the front desk."It makes a difference to this one." she said. and continued on her way. :kitty:
