Hey I have recently joined and could use alot of advice .This is a long one. I have 6 budgies . I started with 2 but soon relized the first two i got were treating the third ..well ..they kicked his tail . He was missing feathers and really unhappy . So I went and bought a new one to be his friend . Accidently I bought 3 males and one female so to even it out I went and got two more females . there had been a wonderful improvement , still they all share a cage .5 vets have repeditly assured me the cage is big enough I am still a little worried and thought I go to the experts ... budgie owners . I am 5'8 and the cage reaches mid chest in height and is about a foot and a half wide . Do you think it is o.k to have them all together. I own another cage so should I separate them now after they have been together for a while . WHAT DO I DO ????
