PLEAZ HELP ME!

Somebody! my friend got a bird about a month ago and she doesn't know if she should get another cause her bird never moves except to get to food! what should she do?

Hi teri,

what kinda bird is it that your 'friend' has?
This is an important question before anyone can asnwer as to whether she should get another.

Almost every new bird kept as a pet takes a wee while to adjust to their new surroundings what with the new sounds vibrations and scents , it can be quite scary to some of the wee birds and its an awfull lot to take in for them.

Hi Briana,

if the budgie is left at home alone for most of the day, then i would suggest a friend for him.
Budgies are naturally gregariuos, which means to fly and live in flocks, so the company of another bird would do him the world of good.

Hi, its me Teri. The one who owns the budgie!!

He is not left alone during the summer, but in the school time, my parents both work and my sister and i go to school, so he is left alone. I think i have solved my budgie problem though. I brought the cage down to put beside my finches cage and now he is a lot more active. Although, he does talk to himslef in the mirror a lot lately!!
