Hello Lecando,
I have a canary. It is very very old.
It sings really beautifully and it adds lots of joy to me and my family.
Great to know you!

I'm new! For my birthday I'm going to get two male parakeets one blue one green. Their names will be GREEN:Croutons Blue: Henry Jr.. I got enterested in the idea when I saw a bunch of parakeets in a cage at petland.I was wondering if there are mites in hot places.

Seems like most of us here, keeping birds, don't know what's the gender of our birds. That includes ME! I don't know if my canary, Tweety, is a boy or girl. LOL. http://petshub.com/ubb/biggrin.gif
But i am sure Tweety is a cute OLD adult, who chirps everyday. http://petshub.com/ubb/smile.gif Yeah!

I always thought birds were boring but than one day a green little parakeet flew into the window of our house he was hungry and scared so I've decided to keep him and take care of him, he was so smart he could imitate a lot of sounds like phone ringing and door shutting! http://petshub.com/ubb/smile.gif Than he learned how to say my name and every morning he would scream it really loud so i would wake-up! http://petshub.com/ubb/tongue.gif
Two times he flew away but than came back I thought he was the smartest little budgie ever! http://petshub.com/ubb/biggrin.gif Right now I have a girl parakeet "BIRDIE" and a lovebird "PETTIE"! http://petshub.com/ubb/smile.gif
