Pease Help with my Bird!

hi! I have a budgie that i got that was supposidly hand trained. his name is Twinkles, i have tried to get him to go on my finger but he doesn't seem to want to. I feed him lettuce for my hand then the other day, i got him out of his cage with lettuce (of course) then he flew into my mirror. I got him back in his cage as quickly as possible. My bird now doesn't even seem to eat the lettuce i try and feed him even if i am not trying to get him out! I want us to bond but i am having difficulties! do u have any suggestions?

the worst thing you culd of done is to put the bird back in the cage because one it could have been ingured and two it thinks it has done something wrong try bribing your bird with millet sprays that worked for my budgies and even finches will fall for it ! visit my site for more info on birds and e-mail me on birdcrazy@birdcrazy.net for info on bird training it isnt on my website yet and you can have it before it goes online for free hope that helps and ill give you more info if you e-mail me.
