My husband and I just got two kittens last month. They are brother and sister. 3 wks later we moved. We have been in the new place for a little over a week. We want to adopt a 3 yr old declawed, neutered male. I have had varying opinions on this. Does this spell trouble? Or Will this be a good time as the kittens have not established territory yet and the home is new to us all? I will have more than one litter box in separate rooms. Any experience or info would be welcome. Also in addition, apparently the people who live here before had cats and they left some urine odor in the carpet:(. Will this lead to trouble? The kittens haven’t marked over it yet. Is there anything that will get the smell out? Will the new adult cat start marking even tho he’s neutered?
